| In May 2007,China and Thailand signed the "Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications and Degrees".The two sides respect the rights of the agencies designated by the governments of China and Thailand to recognize mutual diplomas.In 2021,Buriram Rajabhat University of Thailand enrolled 18 Chinese students majoring in Educational Management.Due to the COVID 19 pandemic,they studied online,and the author was invited to interpret for the course of Educational Management.Based on the practice of Chinese-Thai consecutive interpreting for the online course of Education Management of Buriram Rajabhat University,the author focuses on the consecutive interpretation from Thai to Chinese,and,with Gill’s Effort Model,discusses and analyzes the problems and coping strategies during the practice.This aims to summarize interpretation strategies suitable for online course interpretation and to avoid the same mistakes in future course interpretation and other interpretation occasions.The author also hopes to learn from the past to improve her own interpretation skills.Through analysis,the author finds that the problems in practice include listening and comprehension,note-taking,memory,and output.In addition,the author tries to put forward corresponding solutions,such as pre-translation preparation and post-translation summary,logical thinking and language expression,fuzzification,and note-taking. |
