| The Qing Dynasty was a period when the post-delivery system was fully developed in the feudal period of our country.The whole country was centered on the Huanghua Post in the capital city,from the chariot and clear officials of the Central Military Department,to the Hui Tong Pavilion and the Jie Bao Office,to the local waterhorse posts and emergency stations.The delivery shop,with many post roads as silk threads,constitutes a huge post delivery network.The postdelivery system in Nanyang is a key part of this huge network.Nanyang area is located in the southwest of Henan,which is the passage leading to Hubei and southwest areas.The setting of post stations and express shops in Nanyang area is deeply influenced by its special geographical location and political and economic factors.In addition,the Qing Dynasty used troops to the southwest many times,and also used the post-delivery system in the Nanyang area to supply horses and other animal power,transfer military equipment and equipment,as well as army expeditions,reception of class divisions,and so on.However,although the post-delivery system in the Qing Dynasty played a huge role in maintaining national unity and strengthening centralization,it was also built on the huge burden of the people.The shortage of animal power and the heavy labor of couriers have brought great suffering to the people.This article intends to start with the organizational construction of the post-delivery system in the Qing Dynasty,and select Nanyang as the center to explore the characteristics of the postdelivery system in this area. |
