During the Spring Festival of 2020,the outbreak of a new type of coronavirus pneumonia(hereinafter referred to as "COVID-19")in Wuhan,Hubei,forced all public places including museums to close their doors.As a public cultural service institution,the museum actively carried out online cultural services through the Internet during the closing period,effectively gave full play to its mission and functions,actively assumed social responsibilities,and became an important carrier to enrich people’s lives and heal their hearts during the epidemic.Since January,National Cultural Heritage has encouraged museums at all levels to actively participate in it..More than1,300 cultural blogging units have opened websites,wechat,microblog and other online platforms,launched more than 2000 "cloud exhibitions" and received more than 5 billion visits a month.Among them,the most concentrated "Museum Online Exhibition Platform" has launched six batches of "cloud exhibitions",totaling 300 items.This made the museum "cloud exhibition" into the public vision for the first time in a large scale and became the product of blowout rapid development.compared with foreign countries,museum "Cloud Exhibition" is still in the preliminary exploration stage in China and is not mature.However,from the actual situation of launching "cloud Exhibition" during the epidemic,there were many deficiencies and did not form a fixed mode of transmission,we can still see the future communication trend and development direction of Museum "cloud Exhibition".Therefore,this paper takes six batches of "cloud exhibitions" launched by "Museum Online Exhibition Platform" as the research object,and studies the subjects,audiences,effects and problems in the communication mode with the help of communication science.At the same time,i will provides feasible suggestions for the future sustainable development of "cloud exhibitions" in Chinese museums,so as to promote the breadth and depth of communication,and enable museums to better realize public service functions.
