A Report On The Translation Of Sustainable Land Management In A European Context（Chapters 12-13）

Sustainable land use is an important issue of human development.Sustainable Land Management in a European Context covers some new ideas and methods on sustainable land management,which can guide the research study of the entrusting party and practitioners.This report selects Chapters 12-13 of Sustainable Land Management in a European Context as its practice material.Under the guidance of Verschueren’s Theory of Linguistic Context Adaptation,this report mainly analyses the problems the author encountered in translation from the perspectives of contextual cohesion,intertextuality and sequencing.Moreover,through case studies,it explores the translation methods of informative texts under the guidance of Linguistic Context Adaptation Theory and discusses how to make dynamic adaptation in translation.This report aims to analyze the translation practice with the application of Verschueren’s Theory of Linguistic Context Adaptation,and summarize what the author has gained,learned and reflected in the translation process,so as to serve as reference for the translation of such informative texts.
