Multiple Perspectives ——The Influence Of David Hockney Way Of Seeing On My Painting

Painting creation relies on visual viewing to obtain picture information.As the prerequisite of painting creation,viewing leads us to perceive the world.The change of viewing mode leads to the change of creative thinking,and then affects the presentation of the final effect of the picture.The core of this paper is Hockney’s attempt to restore the real viewing way of human eyes.Starting with the traditional western focus perspective,the fixed and static perspective of this way of viewing is demonstrated.Through Hockney’s learning of the "moving focus" viewing mode of Chinese painting and the "multi-viewpoint reconstruction" viewing mode of Western cubism,it expands the viewing Angle from the level of time and space.On this basis,Hockney established a set of his own "reverse perspective" viewing system,which makes the viewing Angle become diversified and closer to the real human eyes.Through the study of the change of Hockney’s viewing way,the author will be guided to think and explore about watching more systematically,expand artistic thinking,and finally complete the painting practice creation.
