Study On The Chapter Method Of Work Pen And Flower Birds Painting In The 13th National Art Exhibition

The National Art Exhibition is one of the more influential exhibitions in contemporary China and plays a leading and promoting role in the innovation of Chinese painting.The works selected for the National Art Exhibition are a representative group of contemporary brush painting,and reflect the current level of brush painting and the prospect and trend of its development.From the First National Art Exhibition to the Thirteenth National Art Exhibition,the selected paintings have their unique styles and characteristics of the times.The 13 th National Art Exhibition kicked off in September2019 in Jinan,Shandong Province.604 pieces of Chinese paintings and 88 pieces of flower and bird paintings were finally selected for this exhibition,which shows the large number of works,and is one of the exhibitions with a larger proportion of flower and bird paintings and a wider style form selected in recent art exhibitions,providing rich data for the study of the chapter of contemporary brush painting in the past five years.The creative forms of the works selected for this exhibition are: the novel structure of the chapter layout,the magnificent picture mood,the light and harmonious decorative colors,and the vigorous and upward trend of the times.The chapter style of the works selected for this exhibition can be studied to reflect the chapter style characteristics of contemporary brush painting from one side.The thesis is divided into four parts to elaborate on the expressions of contemporary brush painting chapters in the 13 th National Art Exhibition: the first part describes the concept and historical origin of contemporary brush painting chapters,and provides an overview and definition of "chapters" and "contemporary".The second part is about the formal characteristics of contemporary brush painting chapter style,and describes the new chapter style characteristics presented by contemporary brush painting from three aspects.The third part analyzes the formal characteristics of the chapters of the works in the 13 th National Art Exhibition,and discusses four aspects of the more representative chapters to elaborate the artistic style of the chapters of contemporary brush painting.The fourth part summarizes and reflects on the application of the chapter style in the author’s graduation work,and provides an outlook on the future development trend of the chapter style of brush painting.
