Research On Artistic Expression Of "Line" In Contemporary Meticulous Flower-Bird Painting

Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting is a unique form of painting art in China with a long history.Meticulous flower-and-bird painting has developed comprehensively in the course of history and reflects the independent aesthetic characteristics and humanistic spirit of the Chinese nation.From the cave murals left in the primitive society period,we can see the rudiment of "modeling with lines".The primitive people expressed sacrificial and life scenes through lines.Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting became an independent department in the Tang Dynasty and reached a high degree of maturity in the Song Dynasty."Line" is the soul of Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting and also one of the important techniques of expression.The image shaping of meticulous flower-and-bird painting is mainly completed through lines and colors,and the use of lines is the beginning of modeling,but also the most basic elements of meticulous flower-and-bird painting.Due to the influence of cultural background and productivity level,there are great differences between Eastern painting and western painting in both tools and humanistic spirit.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,with the continuous strengthening of the reform and opening up,and the impact and collision of foreign cultures,the lines of contemporary Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting have extensively absorbed foreign forms of artistic expression on the basis of tradition,which has been unprecedented liberation.A variety of expression techniques have emerged,and the lines show a new atmosphere of The Times.In contemporary Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting,"line" has appeared various forms of artistic expression.This paper will be divided into four parts,the first part is the "line" of traditional Chinese realistic painting flowers and birds painting and its artistic features,first of all,from the "line" the connotation of traditional Chinese realistic painting flowers and birds painting and historical evolution,analyses the artistic features of the "line" painting flowers and birds painting,from the "line" in traditional Chinese realistic painting flowers and birds painting external forms and internal aesthetic characteristics were explored.The second part analyzes the causes of the artistic features of the contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting "line".The author analyzes it from four aspects,the first is the change of cultural context,the second is the influence of foreign art and culture and the transformation of contemporary aesthetic consciousness,and the fourth is the analysis of the artist’s personal factors.The third part mainly studies the artistic expression of "line" in contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting,which is also the main part of this paper.The author takes representative contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painters as an example to analyze three different artistic expression styles.The first one is the inheritance of traditional artistic expression style represented by Jiang Hongwei and Yu Hui.The second is li Kuizheng,Su Baijun represented by the integration of Chinese and Western artistic expression style,and the third is Lin Ruoxi,Chen Yunquan represented by decorative artistic expression style.Through the works of different styles of painters to analyze the "line" in the contemporary meticulous flower and bird painting artistic expression.The fourth part is the practice and thinking of "line" in the creation of "Sijingoude".The first part is the conception and theme of creation,as well as the discussion of the creation process,and summarizes and thinks about the artistic expression of "line" in the contemporary meticulous flower and bird painting.
