more attention,and laid a foundation for the diversified presentation of Beijing style novels in the 1990 s.The research object of this paper is "Beijing flavour novels of the 1980s",most of the works involved are medium and short stories’ s creation including Deng Youmei more representative of "the five","pipes",Chen jiangong’s "fun" and "treads the hutongs,9",Wang zeng-qi’s happiness in,"the
