As a carrier of symbolic information transmission and visual communication in painting,schema language has the characteristics of transcaging The Times and accommodating different cultural differences.The interpretation and study of traditional painting as a visual communication schema language can innovate the thinking mode and enrich the researchers’ understanding of visual art and even the history of art.From the schema language Angle,this paper applies the method of horizontal and vertical comparative study to witness of early Chinese dunhuang frescoes(mainly makes,the northern wei dynasty and the period of wei)and the French are presented in the works of henri Matisse schema language,the analysis of two kinds of schema language in visual communication between elements of isomorphism,homogeneity and diversity,And discusses the aesthetic significance reflected in the painting schema language formed in two different cultures and times.
