China is now in the period of modernization,and the development of new technology and media has brought new opportunities and challenges to book design.There is no denying that we have entered a new "age of picture reading".In image as the main narrative element of picture books,people are becoming more and more tend to be more intuitive,multi-dimensional,strong visual impact and sensory experience,including "children’s picture books" or "adult picture books," came out in all by the unique attributes of their audience,to show the strength of beauty and life.This article from the narrative way of picture books and the aesthetic demand of picture books,from the perspective of different audience aesthetic characteristics under the age of the Internet were analyzed,and the induction of picture books in different audience a ready market in the causes and the existing problems,and analyzes the future development trend of the different audience,through the analysis of specific cases,summarizes and at the same time the creation method,And explore the design approach of creating picture books across audience groups in the future.The last part of the paper is to apply the research results to practice and explore the feasibility of creating picture books across the audience in the graduation project.Innovation points embodied in the boundaries of fuzzy audience,difficulty is painting the multiplicity of aesthetic value,with a focus on the analysis of different audience’s psychology and behavior characteristics,and then found across the audience draw this design can be solved in the present,or even to happen in the future,people for the transition of the information receiving habits,readers in the process of the transition of the social psychological need,To realize the penetration and integration of objective image and subjective mood,to express the creator’s interest and satisfy the reader’s consumption psychology,to realize the integration of market value and aesthetic value,so as to provide more practical significance for the future book design.
