At present, the social economy has entered a high-speed development stage, and women’s social status is constantly improving, and the influence of female art creators is also constantly improving. This shows that women begin to re-examine themselves from "being stared at" in their social relations. This is the awakening of women’s independent consciousness in self-cognition and social existence, and it is also the fact that a large number of outstanding female art workers put forward their own views with their own unique perspective and artistic language, and promote social progress in an artistic way to show their more value. It is not difficult to find that female artists always show their unique "maternal power" in the process of artistic creation unconsciously.First of all,the author gives a brief overview of the absence of female artists in China’s art history, and then expounds the inevitability of "maternal power" through gender, emotion and dedication.Secondly, through the analysis of related female artists and their artistic works, the expression of "maternal power" in female artists’ creation is discussed in a deeper level.Thirdly, this paper sorts out its theme, color, picture composition and material selection to find its own painting language. Finally, the series of paintings I created,Pregnancy, depict babies, organs and women’s bodies, and reflect on the problem of the continuation of civilization in our whole human society. At the same time, the author has effectively expressed some thoughts on many issues of "women" through the series of paintings of Pregnancy. The development of female art in China will face more opportunities and challenges, and we need to seize the opportunities to make female art have a better future.
