The Northern Song Dynasty Hebei Education Inscription And Calligraphy Style And Creative Reference

In the Northern Song Dynasty,the social environment was relatively stable,and Hebei,as an important border town,gradually improved its education culture.Many inscriptions recording the education culture at that time provided us with a lot of material documents to study the education in the Northern Song Dynasty today.There are 13 Education stone steles in Northern Song Dynasty in Hebei.Based on these Education stone steles,this paper first summarizes the retention of Education stone steles in Northern Song Dynasty in the form of tables.Secondly,it studies the educational culture,official school construction,artistic style and calligraphy analysis reflected by the content of inscriptions.Finally,the calligraphy of the selected inscriptions is used for reference from two aspects of copying and creation,and it is understood and applied from the angles of word method,knot structure and composition.Combined with the theoretical knowledge of predecessors’ book theory,the calligraphy is used for reference and creation.The value and significance of Hebei’s regional education inscriptions in the Northern Song Dynasty are extensive and far-reaching.The exploration and thinking of this paper aims to arouse the attention of the academic circles in this field and draw lessons from it.This article intends to start further discussion on this issue.
