Study On The Cloud In Song Dynasty Painting

The development of Chinese painting to the Song Dynasty showed a prosperous scene of connecting the preceding and the following and creating the best in the world.Under the background of the rapid development and further integration of various cultural and artistic thoughts,the paintings reflecting the natural beauty in the Song Dynasty were more prosperous.As an image symbol with profound cultural connotation,cloud has richer meaning and complex and multiple symbolic semantics;The formal language of cloud is also more mature and perfect.Landscape painting in Song Dynasty pays special attention to the expression of cloud and smoke.In order to make the research on the meaning of cloud more targeted and typical,this paper selects the cloud in the painting of the Song Dynasty as the research object.The meaning of cloud includes two aspects: on the one hand,it is reflected in the schematic content of cloud,that is,the cultural connotation attribute of cloud,which takes cloud as a symbol and medium,metaphors and reposes the author’s spiritual purport,and constructs the dual cognition of nature and heart source from outside to inside;On the other hand,it is embodied in the formal language of cloud,that is,the aesthetic value and function of cloud schema in painting,the specific technical expression,and its role in the composition of picture and artistic conception.The spiritual connotation of cloud is the soul contained in the picture,while the formal language is like its flesh,just like the relationship between "Tao" and "technology",which means that the study of cloud from the perspective of technology will be superficial and not deep enough.The study of cloud from the perspective of Tao is empty and not comprehensive.Therefore,this paper will take the content and form of cloud in the painting of Song Dynasty as the starting point,study the connotation of cloud from the perspective of social culture,philosophical concept and symbolic meaning,and study the formal language of cloud from the perspective of aesthetic thought,techniques,pen and ink,spatial composition and artistic conception,combined with the painting noumenon and text description,This paper comprehensively discusses the significance of cloud in Song Dynasty painting,in order to have a deeper understanding of the aesthetic value and position of "cloud" in Song Dynasty painting,and provide nutrition and basis for my future creation.
