| Chen Zhifo（1896--1962）was a famous art educator and arts and crafts artist in the 20 th century,and he was also a famous painter of flowers and birds in fine brushwork.The artistic features and aesthetic style of Chen Zhifo’s meticulous painting are unique in the field of meticulous painting,and the artistic style in the early stage of his meticulous painting of flowers and birds generally shows a nostalgic and secluded mood such as loneliness and elegance.In the later stage of creation,on the basis of absorbing the artistic essence of flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty,he used both handwriting and writing,created the "water accumulation method",innovated his own painting style,and made important contributions to the advancement and development of modern Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting.At present,the academic circles are conducting more researches on his pattern design and the artistic style of his meticulous painting of flowers and birds,but there are few studies on the artistic value of his meticulous painting from the angle accepted by the art market.This article sorts out and analyzes the art market prices of Chen Zhifo’s meticulous flower-and-bird paintings in major auction houses from the perspective of the art market,so as to understand the current status of the art market acceptance of his meticulous paintings from a deeper level,and analyze the price of this work accordingly.Due artistic value and historical value.As far as the current art market is concerned,the market value of Chen Zhifo’s meticulous flower-and-bird paintings has always been disproportionate to its own artistic value.By analyzing the price performance of Chen Zhifo’s gongbi painting works at different stages since they entered the market,it can be seen that Chen Zhifo’s works are affected by factors such as artistic popularity,personal cultural background,and the market activity of the works,resulting in relatively low market prices for his works.But whether it is from Chen Zhifo’s personal artistic contribution or the artistic value of his gongbi paintings,the market value of Chen Zhifo’s works should be higher than the value shown in the current market.Based on the current auction transaction status of Chen Zhifo’s fine brushwork paintings on the Artron website,this paper analyzes the factors that affect the low market value of Chen Zhifo’s works and the future market potential of Chen Zhifo’s works.Combined with the artistic creation of Chen Zhifo’s meticulous flower-and-bird painting,from the perspective of Chen Zhifo’s artistic attainments,personal influence and artistic contribution,the reasons for the large gap between the market performance and artistic value of his works are analyzed.Finally,from the more and more publicity and promotion of Chen Zhifo in the auction market and various art institutions,as well as more and more academic researches on Chen Zhifo’s artistic achievements and academic research,we will explore the future market trend and collection potential of Chen Zhifo’s meticulous flower and bird paintings.The artist’s artistic popularity needs a certain amount of publicity to enhance.Through the design of indoor screen installations,a certain amount of promotion and publicity for Chen Zhifo’s artistic achievements and personal popularity will help to enhance the understanding of him in the industry and the general public.At the same time,it is hoped that the data and theoretical results generated by this survey will further enhance the academic community’s understanding and understanding of Chen Zhifo’s art,and supplement the research on the operation laws and theories of the Chinese painting and calligraphy art market. |
