The concept of "the dead is the greatest" in ancient Chinese society has a long history, and often "death is like life".At the same time, they are very particular about "death in their proper place" and "falling leaves return to their roots".If someone unfortunately dies in a "other place",it is necessary to let the soul of the deceased return to his hometown through burial. Therefore, burial is a kind of funeral act in which the deceased who died in other places are buried to the side of the ancestors in their hometown. It is one of the important forms of burial, which has a long history and is very common. As a dynasty established by ethnic minorities, the Jin Dynasty has burial customs for many ethnic groups in its ruled area, and with the gradual integration of various ethnic groups, the burial forms of various ethnic groups have gradually become unified. The research on the burial of the Jin Dynasty can give a glimpse of the ideology, culture, etiquette and customs behind the burial phenomenon, such as the concept of death and filial piety, which is helpful to the research on the social history of the Jin Dynasty. From the epitaphs unearthed and the records of handed down documents,it can be clearly seen that there were a considerable number of burials in the Jin Dynasty.Through summarizing,we can see that many ethnic groups such as Han,Jurchen,Khitan, and Bohai all have burials. And most of the buried people have higher status, and more men than women are buried. These burials traveled to other places for official, war, business and other reasons, and died because of diseases, wars or accidents, and finally had to return to their hometowns through burial. Therefore, most of the burials in the Jin Dynasty conformed to the two standards of escort and burial with relatives. Many burials are long distances,so burials require a lot of money and time.In the case of insufficient burial funds, the family of the deceased will raise burial funds by accepting official funeral assistance,self-funding,or accepting funeral assistance from others..When the burial funds are insufficient and there is no suitable bereavement caregiver, the time spent on the burial can be greatly prolonged. The burial seems to be a common form of burial, but behind it is the concept of death that the soul of the Jin Dynasty is immortal, the fox died on the head mound, and the fallen leaves are buried. The burial is also an identification of the family consciousness linked by blood relationship, and it is also a manifestation of the feelings of the homeland. In addition, the burial forms of various ethnic groups have become increasingly consistent, reflecting the gradual integration of various ethnic groups in the Jin Dynasty...
