On The Influence Of Loneliness In Urban Oil Painting On Graduation Creation

Different periods of oil painting have different themes of evolution,since the 1990 s,Chinese oil painting began to urban theme creation.The development of the city is fast,the way of life presented and people’s emotions are diversified.Joy,excitement,loneliness,etc.,bring different feelings to different people,which also brings great influence to the creation of artists.Art creation forms and selection of materials have also become diversified.The creation of urban theme is also popular,artists can express their inner true feelings through this theme.Taking The Chinese painter Xu Yongcheng and the American painter Edward Hopper as examples,thesis analyzes the "loneliness" presented in the oil paintings of urban themes,and then explores the artistic characteristics of the "loneliness" in urban themes.As a reference,I used the brush to express the loneliness hidden in the bustling city in my graduation creation.The first part of thesis is the relevant elaboration of the topic.The second part focuses on the artistic characteristics of "solitude" in urban oil paintings,taking the works of Xu Yongcheng and Edward Hopper as examples,including composition conception,emotional expression and color composition.The third part is the key part of the article,which discusses the reference and application of graduation creation to the "solitude" shown in urban oil painting in composition conception,emotional expression and color composition.The fourth part is the perception and reflection produced in the process of graduation creation.In the whole process of artistic creation,the complex emotions of the painter’s heart can be displayed more through urban themes.The composition of pastoral works is not so complex.Although the artist can also express his inner emotions in the process of creation,this emotion is not so complex and gives people a pure feeling.However,the feelings of urban works to the viewer are often complex.There may be a sadness and loneliness hidden behind a very prosperous work.Such emotions are complex and diverse.
