Modal verbs occupy a very important position in modern Chinese.They have a large number,complex meanings and complicated usages,which are the difficulties for Thai Chinese learners to learn.The ontology research on the verbs in Chinese is complicated and unsystematic,which increases the difficulty for Thai Chinese learners to learn.Therefore,Thai learners make many mistakes when they learn the verbs.In this paper,the author starts with bias analysis and collects bias corpus from three natural corpora.Count and describe the collected errors,summarize and sort out the obtained problems,analyze the types of errors,and determine the types of errors.The author will use interlanguage theory,error analysis theory and other theories to analyze the reasons for the errors of verbs in Thai learners,find out the solutions to the problems,and put forward countermeasures,in order to promote the teaching of verbs.The innovation of this paper is to collect error corpus from three natural corpora,to avoid using inductive corpus to ensure the authenticity of the corpus;to analyze and describe the various errors that occur in the process of Thai Chinese learners in the process of acquiring voluntary verbs.From the interlingual,intralingual and other three aspects to analyze the causes of the errors of T hai students,and based on this,formulate relevant teaching strategies,and put forward specific and effective suggestions.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the reason and meaning of the topic.The author summarizes the previous research results,which provides the preconditions for the research on the verbs of Nengyu in this paper.The second chapter is the key chapter of this paper.The author will make statistics and descriptions of the errors collected in the three corpora,find out the characteristics of the errors unique to Thai learners,and describe the characteristics of the errors in detail..The third chapter analyzes the causes of errors in the verbs of Nengyu.The author analyzes the causes of errors from three aspects: interlingual,intralingual and other.Finally,it is found that these errors are mainly caused by negative transfer of mother tongue and generalization of target language knowledge.,cognitive bias,communication strategies and other reasons.In Chapter 4,based on the errors and their causes described in Chapters 2 and 3,the author puts forward specific methods suitable for Thai Chinese learners to learn the verbs in terms of learners’ learning strategies,teachers’ teaching suggestions,and textbook compilation.’s suggestion.Finally,the author hopes that through these specific suggestions,the ability of Thai Chinese learners to acquire verbs can be improved,Chinese teachers can achieve satisfactory results in teaching,and textbooks can meet the needs of nationalization.
