Semiconductor-based photocatalysts show great potential in application fields such as antibacterial and removal of organic pollutants due to their high degradation rate.Other characteristics such as semiconductor materials,morphology and surface properties should be considered when designing stable and efficient photocatalytic materials that respond to visible light.Novel micro-nano materials were prepared mainly based on zinc oxide and its composite,doped materials and tungsten trioxide.The possible formation mechanism was discussed,and the photocatalytic activity of the samples was studied by degrading Rhodamine B aqueous solution and tetracycline aqueous solution.(1)Novel hierarchical hollow nest-like WO3micro/nanostructures(HNWMs)were prepared via a hydrothermal method with template-free.For the formation of HNWMs assembled from many regular-shaped nanosheets,a formation mechanism had been proposed based on nucleation and Ostwald ripening process.The effects of annealing conditions,p H value and hexamethylenetetramine(HMTA)on the structure and performance of HNWMs were also studied.In addition,it was found that the prepared HNWMs showed excellent photocatalytic activity for tetracycline(TC)aqueous solutions.(2)Novel Blue Fescue-like CQDs/Sn-doped ZnO composite photocatalyst was successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method with citric acid as an effective control agent.The photocatalytic performance of all samples was obtained by degrading rhodamine B under visible light irradiation.It is found that the as-prepared CQDs/Sn-doped ZnO showed superior photocatalytic activity than Sn-doped ZnO and pure ZnO.The excellent photocatalytic performance of CQDs/Sn-doped ZnO can be attributed to the strong adsorption characteristics of carbon materials and the effective absorption and transfer of photogenerated electrons by CQDs.(3)Novel Camellia-like Zr-doped ZnO nanostructures have been successfully synthesized by mild hydrothermal method.Several zinc oxide samples(pure ZnO,CLZ-Z3%,CLZ-Z5%,CLZ-Z10%)with different doping amount of zirconium were synthesized,and the photocatalytic properties of the samples were studied by degrading rhodamine B solution under visible light irradiation.The research results showed that the CLZ-Z5%sample exhibited excellent photocatalytic activity to Rh B solutions under visible light.
