Vanadium is an important strategic metal,which is widely used in many fields such as the steel industry,catalyst preparation,and battery and other fields.In this article uses Guizhou descloizite as raw material,advanced a whole wet process,It mainly involves sulfuric acid leaching,ion exchange,resin desorption,ammonium salt precipitation and other extraction processes,it can effectively avoid the flue gas pollution caused by pyrotechnics.The results of mineral composition analysis of vanadium lead zinc ore show that the content of vanadium is 7.82%,zinc is 11.47%,lead is 39.53%,Vanadium content is much higher than other low-grade vanadium ore resources,but also contains valuable metals such as lead and zinc,which has high economic value.Sulfuric acid leaching experiment of descloizite studied the effect of different conditions on vanadium leaching rate.The results showed that the optimum conditions were as follows:sulfuric acid concentration of 200g/L,liquid-solid ratio of3:1,leaching time of 30min,stirring rate of 200r/min and leaching temperature of30℃,the leaching rate of vanadium and zinc can reach 97.9%and 97.11%.It is found that the leaching process is controlled by diffusion process.The content of vanadium and zinc in leaching solution is high.The ion exchange process for separating vanadium and zinc from high concentration vanadium solution is proposed.A weak basic anion exchange resin was used to adsorb vanadium in leaching solution.The saturated adsorption capacity of resin static exchange was198.16mg/g.According to the dynamic adsorption curve of ion exchange,the optimal adsorption conditions were determined as follows:3-stage ion exchange column,pH of leaching solution is 2.8,injection flow rate of 1Bv/h.Under these conditions,the working adsorption capacity of the first stage resin can reach 245.53mg/g.Vanadium was adsorbed by resin and eluted by Na OH solution,under the optimal conditions of desorption rate of 4bv/h,concentration of desorber of 3mol/L and without adding Na Cl,good separation effect can be obtained,and the desorption rate can reach97.58%.After adjusting the pH value of desorption solution,ammonium sulfate was added to it,and ammonium salt was used to precipitate vanadium at room temperature.NH4VO3precipitation was obtained by solubility difference.Under the optimum conditions of K=3,pH=8.5 and 3h precipitation time,the precipitation rate of vanadium can reach 95.38%.After calcining at 550℃for 2h,vanadium pentoxide with purity of 99.42%can be obtained,which can meet the requirements of national standard GB3283-1987.The total recovery of vanadium is 84.74%.
