| Rosa roxburghii is a valuable resource in our province for both food and medicine. It is high in a range of nutrients and has a promising future as a functional product raw material. The skin care effect of Rosa roxburghii stoste is studied in this article, and it is combined with pectin-rich fruit pulp to create a beauty product with multiple skin care effects and high protection The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)In vitro evaluation of Rosa roxburghii stoste skin care performance and safetyRosa roxburghii stoste’s ability and protection as a cosmetic raw material were assessed using in vitro effectiveness trials, cell samples, and animal studies. The results revealed that Rosa roxburghii stock had a low moisturizing efficiency, but a good capacity to scavenge free radicals and inhibit tyrosinase action.Rosa roxburghii stock’s ability to scavenge ABTS,DPPH,and superoxide anion free radicals was more than 1.5 times that of the control rose essential oil,and its ability to inhibit tyrosinase activity was 1.7 times that of the control rose essential oil.The antioxidant and whitening qualities is much superior to those of rose essential oil.The 2.5%Rosa roxburghii stock substantially inhibited the development of human melanoma A875 cells, promoted apoptosis, and inhibited intracellular melanin synthesis(p<0.05).Rosa roxburghii stoste had no apparent toxicity to HSF cells and no inflammation and sensitization to the skin of SD safe rats.(2)Research on the screening of formulation excipientsFive different pectin-rich pulps(banana,August melon, blueberry, raspberry, and kiwi)were sterilized using different processes.Different sterilization approaches were used to compare and assess the sterilization results, physical and chemical properties, color, luster, pectin content, viscosity, and moisturizing capacity of the five pulps.According to the findings, the Akebia trifoliata pulp had the highest pectin content and the best moisturizing properties. The non-enzymatic browning reaction of Akebia trifoliata pulp was reduced after US sterilization, the scent and color were not altered, and the physical and chemical properties were more stable. It complied with commercial sterilization standards while retaining its original nutritional content. Its pectin content was improved to 0.42%,its SOD content was 136.15 U/g,and its moisturizing performance was superior to glycerin’s.The sterilization process was determined by a single factor and Box-Behnken response surface test, with the pulp processing volume being 6.36 g,the ultrasonic power being 250 W,and the ultrasonic time being 17.89 min.The Akebia trifoliata pulp after US sterilization was used as a formula supplement in this chapter.(3)Formula design optimization and efficacy evaluation of Rosa roxburghii skin care lotionRosa roxburghii stoste and Akebia trifoliata pulp were used as the key compound ingredients in a skin care lotion, and the D-optimum mixture method was used to improve the product ratio.By evaluating the body weight change, organ index, skin tissue composition, skin antioxidant index, skin whitening index and examining the modifications in skin tissue morphology of naturally aged mice, comprehensively assess the effectiveness and performance of each ratio of Rosa roxburghii skin care lotion. The formula of the N2 group of Rosa roxburghii skin care lotion is as follows:Rosa roxburghii stoste 2.75%;Akebia trifoliata pulp 7.25%;carbomer 940 0.5%;trehalose 4%;γ-polyglutamic acid 0.1%;oat alkaloid 0.01%;L-arginine 0.6%;natural antibacterial peptide 2.5%;distilled water 82.29%,which could effectively increase the skin moisture content, hyaluronic acid content and hydroxyproline content of naturally aging mice;increase the SOD activity,CAT activity of the skin tissue and minimize MDA content;inhibit skin tyrosinase activity, decrease melanin content, and increase melatonin content. It had the highest overall results(moisturizing,anti-oxidation,and whitening).(4)Study on safety and stability of Rosa roxburghii skin care lotionThe toxicity of skin care lotion was determined using an acute oral toxicity test. The results revealed that male mice were given a dosage of 500-5000 mg/kg of skin care lotion at one time, and there was no toxicity or mortality during the observation period,as well as no effect on the mice’s behavior, weight, and multiple organs. The skin care lotion was completely safe to use.The personal safety measurement procedure was used to determine the safety of the skin care lotion. For 7 days,a 2 mg/cm~2 injection was made to the subject’s test area on the inner forearm. The topic had no allergic reactions, and the applied region felt soothing and moisturizing. The skin care lotion has no irritant or poisonous side effects on human skin. The 30-day shelf life accelerated test was used to examine the stability of the skin care lotion in low temperature temperature(4±1℃),room temperature(25±1℃),high temperature(50±1℃)sealed and shielded from illumination, color, scent, properties, and the stability of each active ingredient.Rosa roxburghii skin care lotion was found to be more stable at 4°C.Low-temperature sealed and dark storage can increase safety. |
