ObjectiveTo observe whether it is superior in amelioration of motor function of upper limb when adopting bilateral rehabilitation training to those who suffer from hemiplegia after stroke, comparing with conventional unilateral rehabilitation training.MethodsIn this study,a method of randomized controlled trial will be adopted and a random number table will be developed by the SAS software.Patients who are mainly collected from the inpatient department of rehabilitation of TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine)in Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital, besides, also recruited through advertisement. All the patients who matching the inclusion criteria need to sign the Informed consent themselves or authorize their lineal kins to sign up.And then, they will be included in accordance with the randomized number table strictly. As for the therapy, the control group just need to obey the conventional unilateral rehabilitation training. As a contrast, the study group should accept bilateral rehabilitation training. Both of the period of treatment would be lasted for 4 weeks and another observation record would be taken notes.Afterwards, the SPSS21.0 statistical analysis software program will be used to analyze data.As for the curative effect index, the primary efficacy endpoint is the scale of upper extremities motor fimction test of Fugl-Meyer movement assessment(FMA-UE)and the subgroup score which on the basis of FMA-UE.And the secondary efficacy outcome measures contain the National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)and the Modified Rankin Scale(MRS)ResultsThe Curative Effect Index:The study group had significant improvement on the amelioration of Fugl-Meyer Assessment of Proximal Upper Extremity(FMA-PUE)(P<0.05),and the amelioration of FMA-UE(P<0.05).And when tested the four modes of movement of the proximal upper extremity,we found that their were also significant improvement on the amelioration of associated movement of flexor muscles(P<0.05),and the amelioration of the motion contains associated movement(P<0.05).On the contrast, the other modes of movement seems to be not statistically significant(P>0.05).Besides,their were also not statistically significant on the amelioration of Fugl-Meyer Assessment of Distal Upper Extremity(FMA-DUE).The Secondary Effect Index:1.We defined the amelioration of NIHSS as curative effect which divided into definite improvement, effective and invalid. And there were not statistically significant between the two groups.2.We also defined the MRS as curative effect which divided into valid and invalid. And there were not statistically significant between the two groups.Conclusion1 The patients who suffered from hemiplegia after stroke would benefit more in the amelioration of the motor function of upper extremities after they accepted the bilateral rehabilitation training, and the benefits could be more significant in the amelioration of the motor function of proximal upper extremities.Besides, among the four different modes of movement of proximal upper extremities, the patients could benefit more in the amelioration of the motor function of flexor muscles and the amelioration of the motion contains associated movement after they accepted the bilateral rehabilitation training, however, this benefit did not show on the other two modes and the distal upper extremities.2 The patients who suffer from stroke, which is in the period of convalescence, did not benefit more in the score of NIHSS after they accept the bilateral rehabilitation training, comparing with the patients who accept the traditional unilateral rehabilitation training.3 The patients who suffer from stroke, which is in the period of convalescence, did not benefit more in the evaluation of MRS after the accept the bilateral rehabilitation training, comparing with the patients who accept the traditional unilateral rehabilitation training. |
