Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Selection Based On The Theory Of Zuojin And Pingmu In The Treatment Of Functional Dyspepsia Of Liver And Stomach Discordance

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint selection based on assisting metal to calm wood theory in the treatment of FD with disharmony between liver and stomach.Methods: 30 patients with liver stomach disharmony type of functional dyspepsia were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 15 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with acupuncture based on assisting metal to calm wood theory,while the control group was treated with acupuncture based on syndrome differentiation,once a day,5 days a week,for 2 weeks.The main symptom score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment,and the TCM syndrome efficacy index of the two groups was analyzed and compared.Results: 1.In the main symptom score,the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2.In the aspect of TCM syndrome integral,the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in "epigastric fullness" and "belching"(P>0.05),and there was significant difference in "two flank pain,emotional failure is easy to induce or aggravate","thirst and bitter taste","heartburn and panting","irritability"(P<0.05).3.The total effective rate was 86.67%(13/15)in the observation group and 53.33%(8/15)in the control group,and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Based on assisting metal to calm wood theory,acupoint selection and syndrome differentiation can reduce the main symptoms of FD patients,and the curative effect of the two acupoint selection methods is similar.2.Based on assisting metal to calm wood theory,acupoint selection and syndrome differentiation can significantly reduce the TCM syndrome scores of FD patients with liver stomach disharmony.Assisting metal to calm wood theory of acupoint selection has better effect in the single symptom of "two flank pain,emotional failure easy to induce or aggravate",thirst and bitter taste","heartburn and acid","irritability".Based on the theory of assisting metal to calm wood,the idea and method of acupoint selection for FD with disharmony between liver and stomach is worthy of clinical application.
