Observation On The Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupoint Sticking On Promoting The Second Stage Of Labor In Primipara

? Objective ? To observe whether acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine(Zini Cuisheng Decoction)can promote the second stage of labour in primiparous women and whether it can improve the quality of labour.? Methods ? All 60 ca ses were term primiparous women admitted to the Department of Obstetrics,Changde Hospital Affiliated to Hunan University of Chinese medicine(Hunan,China)between June 2020 and December 2020 for a pending delivery.The parturients were divided into 30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group by the random number table method.There was no significant difference in the equilibrium test before treatment between the two groups(P> 0.05).The treatment group was given acupoint sticking of traditional Chinese medicine(Zini Cuisheng Decoction)when primiparous women were in labour,acupoints were selected from Sanyinjiao,Hegu and Neiguan.By observing and comparing the time of the second stage of labor,interval time between contractions,duration of contractions,strength of uterine contractio and other major research objectives,as well as the oxytocin use rates,vaginal midwifery rates,conversion to cesarean section rates,neonatal 1-minute Apgar score,postpartum hemorrhage volume and other secondary research objectives,to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine(Zini Cuisheng Decoction)for promoting the second stage of labour in primiparous women.? Results ? 1.After acupoint application of traditional Chinese Medicine,The time of the second stage of labour was significantly shorter in the treatment group than in the control grou,The difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.There are significant differences in interval time of contractions,duration of contractions and strength of uterine contractio among the two groups(P < 0.05).The oxytocin use rates,vaginal midwifery rates,conversion to cesarean section rates and postpartum hemorrhage volume in the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control(P<0.05).3.Among the parturients with vaginal delivery,there was no difference in neonatal 1-minute Apgar score among the two groups(P> 0.05).? Conclusion ? Acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine(Zini Cuisheng Decoction)can significantly shorten the time of the second stage of labou r,e nhance the intensity of contractions in the second stage of labor,also can reduce the rates of vaginal midwifery and caesarean section,and no obvious side effects.It is acceptable to patients and deserve to clinical promotion.
