| Background:By observing the JOA score,VAS visual simulation score and clinical effic acy evaluation of acupuncture along meridians combined with electroacupuncture in treating sciatica of lumbar disc herniation, the clinical efficacy of acupuncture along meridians co mbined with electroacupuncture in treating sciatica of lumbar disc herniation was prelimina rily evaluated. Methods:Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was given acupuncture along meridians combined with electroacupuncture as intervention means, while the control group was given general electroacupuncture as intervention means.Ten days is a course of treatment, and two courses of treatment are given. The JOA score and VAS visual simulation score were evaluated before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacy was comprehensively evaluated after treatment.Results:(1)Comparison between the two groups: JOA score and VAS visual simulation score were improved before and after treatment, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: Compared with common electroacupuncture, acupuncture along meridians combined with electroacupuncture has statistical significance in improving JOA score(P < 0.05);The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving VAS visual simulation score(P < 0.05).(3)There was significant difference(P < 0.05)in the overall evaluation of clinical efficacy, which indicated that acupuncture along Meridians combined with electroacupuncture was more effective in improving lumbar function and lower limb pain. Conclusions:Acupuncture along meridians combined with electroacupuncture can significantly improve the overall symptoms and life function of lumbar disc herniation, and can significantly relieve the pain degree of sciatica. |
