Objective:Analysis the distribution of treatment costs of different age groups in Beijing from 2016 to 2018,the treatment costs features of diseases, institutions and key populations in Beijing in 2018,to provide data support for the allocation of health resources, control of medical expenses and health security from age perspective. Methods:First, divide the crowd into five stages according to the overview analysis of the treatment costs of different age groups from 2016 to 2018.Then,construct a two-dimensional matrix table of age and disease,to study the cost of disease treatment in different age groups, age characteristics of different disease costs, and disease preference for outpatient and inpatient. At the same time, construct a twodimensional matrix table of age and medical institution,to analyze characteristics of institutions for treatment costs of different ages, institutional preference for different populations and diseases, distribution of people and cost control effect in different institutions. Finally, further explore the characteristics of treatment costs for children, the elderly, and women of childbearing age by combining multiple dimensions and drawing Sankey diagrams. Results:From the perspective of disease, children’s respiratory system treatment costs are high, youth groups spend more on pregnancy-related diseases, and the economic burden of circulatory system diseases in the middle-aged and the elderly is heavy. The five diseases with the highest proportion of treatment costs are circulatory system diseases, abnormal symptoms and tests, respiratory system diseases, digestive system diseases, and endocrine system diseases, accounting for 52.39%of the total. The average cost of treatment for circulatory system diseases is significantly higher than other diseases, shows that the health resources consumed by each person during hospitalization for the disease are extremely high. From the perspective of medical institutions, children groups receive the most treatment services from specialized hospitals, and they have a low tendency to treat diseases in Chinese medicine hospitals and primary medical institutions.Young people receive the most treatment services from general hospitals. At the same time, the flow of institutions for the middle-aged and the elderly is the most balanced, and they tend to choose primary medical institutions.Regardless of outpatient or inpatient medical services, the overall or only high-cost diseases, the average amount of health resources consumed by each person in specialized hospitals for treatment is the highest. From the perspective of key populations, children get together in hospitals when treating diseases, and women of childbearing age have a high proportion of pregnancy and urinary diseases.Although the elderly population is not large, the total treatment cost is still relatively high due to the high treatment cost per person. It can be said that the treatment burden of the elderly is the heaviest, especially when suffering from circulatory system diseases. Conclusions:From the perspective of disease, the distribution of treatment costs of the population is obviously concentrated, and the prevention and control of high-cost diseases should be strengthened. The institutional distribution of the population’s treatment costs is determined by the choice of medical institutions and the high incidence of diseases.Measures such as optimizing the allocation of medical resources, improving medical insurance policies, and strengthening targeted publicity should be used to guide different populations to choose appropriate medical institutions based on the disease. From the perspective of key populations, promote the pediatric medical resources to primary medical institutions is necessary,it is helpful to change the phenomenon of children getting together in hospitals. And investigate the reasons why young people prefer to see doctors in general hospitals, let them choose the primary medical institution first when suffering from minor illnesses, and go less to large hospitals.Strengthen the control of medical expenses for middle-aged and elderly groups, especially the hospitalization cost when suffering from circulatory system diseases.
