At present, the treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis focuses on how to reduce the Angle of scoliosis while alleviating the symptoms of back pain, thus improving patients’ psychological and treatment satisfaction. The focus of this study was to observe the therapeutic effects of Zheng’s manipulation and percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation combined with Schroth therapy on scoliosis deformity, back pain and mental health in juvenile idiopathic scoliosis patients with mild(10°≤Cobb<25°,without brace)and moderate(25°≤ Cobb<45 °,with brace),respectively.Through the analysis and comparison of the intervention efficacy of the two sets of programs,to lay a foundation for clinical promotion in the future. Methods: Forty-eight patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis who met the inclusion criteria were recruited. The first full-length spinal radiograph was taken before the trial, and the first pain scale(VAS)score and the Scoliosis Study 22-item questionnaire(SRS-22)score were performed.Cobb Angle, vertebral body rotation Angle(VR)and apical vertebra offset(AVT)and trunk coronal plane offset(TS)were assessed and measured on full-length anteroposterior radiographs of the spine. The subjects were assigned to the experimental group(Zheng’s massage combined with Schroth therapy,n=24)and the control group(percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation combined with Schroth therapy,n=24)by the method of envelope drawing using computer number.the subjects were assigned to the experimental group(Zheng’s massage combined with Schroth therapy,n=24).The experimental group and the control group were then randomly divided into moderate experimental group(n=12),moderate control group(n=12),mild experimental group(n=12)and mild control group(n=12).After 6 months of rehabilitation and exercise in the experimental group and the control group respectively, the second full-length spinal X-ray was taken for all subjects.VAS score was performed once a month for each subject, and was assessed 6 times during the study. Each subject will receive the SRS-22 score every two months and will be assessed three times during the study. After the evaluation of various indicators in the experimental group and the control group at different time periods, imaging, pain symptoms and psychological state and other indicators were compared within and between groups.SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used for analysis, measurement data was expressed as mean ± standard deviation(± s),independent sample t test was used for inter-group comparison, repeated measurement analysis of variance was used for intra-group comparison, paired t test was used for comparison between each time point after intervention and before intervention, and χ2 test was used for counting data(rate comparison).Results:(1)Imaging indicators: In the group of moderate patients, after 6 months of intervention,Cobb Angle of experimental group(middle)and control group(middle)patients was significantly decreased(P<0.01),TS of experimental group(middle)patients was significantly improved(P<0.01),and AVT of experimental group(middle)patients was significantly improved(P<0.05).VR of experimental group(middle)patients was significantly improved(P<0.01);There was no significant difference in Cobb Angle,VR,AVT,TS,etc.between experimental group(middle)and control group(middle),but the improvement of experimental group(middle)was better than that of control group(middle). In patients with mild symptoms, the Cobb Angle of experimental group(mild)and control group(mild)patients decreased significantly after 6 months compared with before intervention(P<0.01);There were no significant differences in Cobb Angle,TS,AVT and VR between experimental group(mild)and control group(mild)patients(P>0.05),but the improvement of experimental group(mild)was better than that of control group(mild).⑵ Visual analogue scale of subjective pain(VAS): Through simple analysis of the experimental group(moderate, light)and control group(moderate, light)data further analysis, the experimental group(moderate, light)intervention after 6 months of pain(VAS)scores were significantly improved(P<0.01),control group(moderate, light)intervention after 6 months of pain(VAS)scores were significantly improved(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the pain in the experimental group(medium)was significantly improved at 6 months(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the pain improvement between the experimental group(light)and the control group(light)at 6 months(P>0.05).⑶ Scoliosis Research Institute-22 items score(SRS-22): Further analysis of the data of the experimental group(middle)and the control group(middle)by simple analysis showed that the SRS-22 score of the experimental group(middle)was significantly improved after 6 months of intervention(P<0.01),and the SRS-22 score of the experimental group(light)was significantly improved after 6 months of intervention(P<0.05).The SRS-22 score of the control group(middle)was significantly improved after 6 months of intervention(P<0.05),while the SRS-22 score of the control group(middle)was not significantly improved after 6 months of intervention(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the SRS-22 score in experimental group(middle)was significantly improved after 6 months intervention(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the SRS-22 score in experimental group(light)was significantly improved after 6 months of intervention(P<0.01).Research conclusions:(1)the Zheng massage combined Erwin Schroth specificity in the movement and percutaneous nerve electrical stimulation combined Erwin Schroth specificity movement of intervention in patients with mild and moderate AIS Cobb Angle, vertebral rotation Angle and the trunk coronal setover and top cone setover, including zheng joint Erwin Schroth specificity in sports massage effect is better, but the effect of the two means of intervention and there was no significant difference.(2)Zheng’s massage combined with Schrodt’s exercises and percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation combined with Schroth exercises were effective in the intervention of low back pain in mild and moderate AIS patients, but for moderate AIS patients,Zheng’s massage combined with Schroth exercises had a more stable and significant effect; There was no significant difference in the efficacy of the two interventions for patients with mild AIS.(3)Zheng’s manipulation combined with Schrodt’s exercise and percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation combined with Schroth exercise had higher satisfaction, better psychological improvement, and better patient compliance.
