Clinical Observation Of Huang's Femoral Head Comprehensive Therapy In The Treatment Of Early ONFH

Objective: to observe the clinical efficacy of Huang’s ONFH external application in the treatment of ARCOI and II patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head,and to provide a new idea for clinical treatment of early ONFH.Methods: the ARCO stages of osteonecrosis of the femoral head collected in our hospital from April 2018 to February 2021 were divided into stages I and II.Patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome were identified by TCM syndrome differentiation,and only the number of hips in stage I and II was counted.42 patients(63 hips)were included in the experimental group.During the study,5 patients(7 hips)fell off due to skin allergy and 2 hips(2 hips)were reexamined after the symptoms of long distance(Xinjiang,Qinghai)were significantly improved.In the control group,3 patients(5 hips)suffered from obvious hip pain,stopped seeing a doctor and stopped.Therefore,a total of 32 patients(49 hips)were followed up at the end of the study. Among them,23 cases of hip in the test group were treated with Huang’s ONFH external application combined with oral proprietary Chinese medicine,TDP lamp,traction and functional exercise,while 26 cases in the control group were treated with blank external application.The course of treatment was 12 months.The differences of Harris hip function score,VAS score,Harris excellent and good rate and imaging MRI changes were compared between the two groups after treatment.Results: after 12 months treatment,the Harris score of hip joint function in the experimental group was 78-100,86.42 ±9.93 in the control group,which was significantly higher than that in the control group at 3 months,6 months and 12 months after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 months of treatment,the excellent and good rate of Harris in the experimental group was 73.91%,while that in the control group was53.85%.There was no statistical significance between the two groups(P >0.05).After 12 months of treatment,the Vas scores of the two groups decreased significantly.After 12 months of treatment,the VAS scores of the experimental group and the control group were 0-4 and 0-6,respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.006).After 12 months of treatment,MRI showed improvement of the affected hip in 13 cases in the experimental group and 6 cases in the control group,and the improvement in the experimental group was better than that in the control group;comparison between the two groups: after 12 months of treatment,the improvement rate of MRI in the experimental group was 56.52%,while that in the control group was 23.07%(P <0.011).Conclusion: Huang’s ONFH comprehensive therapy and the control group have definite clinical curative effect,and it can effectively treat the patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head of qi stagnation and blood stasis in ARCOI and II,and the comprehensive treatment based on Huang’s external application is more effective.
