Research On The Promotion Strategy Of Core Competitiveness Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Journals In Liaoning Province

In recent years,as national technological competitiveness and soft power of Chinese culture is fast becoming a key instrument in international competition,with the requirement on accelerating the construction of a scientific and technological power,Journals in China have been given more and more important missions.As an important branch of natural science and a unique cultural treasure of our country,Chinese medicine has received more and more attention for its development.Traditional Chinese medicine journals,as inheriting Chinese civilization and disseminating important scientific research results of traditional Chinese medicine,should also be an important part of it.However,traditional Chinese medicine journals still have many problems that need to be resolved urgently,and targeted research on the evaluation of " traditional Chinese medicine journals " had been a largely under explored domain.Therefore,it is an urgent problem faced by traditional Chinese medicine journals to protrude from the intense competition.Based on the investigation of the development of traditional Chinese medicine journals in Liaoning Province and the overall development of traditional Chinese medicine journals,it is found that the current traditional Chinese medicine journals are rich in content and diverse,while the number of high-quality journals is very small which caused an adverse impact on its international influence.Anyhow,the situation faced by traditional Chinese medicine journals now is that scholars pay really rare attention to " traditional Chinese medicine journal research " as well as the overall evaluation system and competitiveness.Only a few high-quality journals exist,which caused the international influence is low and the competitiveness is also poorer than others.This study first introduces the background,purpose and significance of the study,aiming to analyze the evaluation and development status of the competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine journals,and on this basis,identify strategies to enhance the core competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine journals and promote the sustainable and prosperous development of traditional Chinese medicine journals on a broader platform.Through a review of the relevant literature on journal evaluation and competitiveness research at home and abroad,a general overview of journal evaluation and competitiveness research at home and abroad is collated,and shortcomings and areas for improvement are identified in relation to the current situation.It also defines the relevant concepts and provides a brief description of the theoretical models that will be used in this study,in terms of how and why they are used.The next core element of this study is to construct an evaluation system for the core competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine journals.This part first uses the theoretical model to construct the core competitiveness evaluation model of traditional Chinese medicine journals which composed by six core elements,and then defines and discusses the core competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine journals through the topic selection group.According to these six core elements,the evaluation indicators of the core competitiveness evaluation model of traditional Chinese medicine journals are determined.Finally,the core competitiveness evaluation index system of traditional Chinese medicine journals was constructed through AHP,which provided a framework for the follow-up research.Finally,the evaluation system is used to empirically study and analyze the discussion.This part begins by summarizing the basic situation,distribution situation and bibliometric situation of each traditional Chinese medicine journal in Liaoning Province,and focuses on the detailed introduction of the overall development status of L journals.Then,experts assign scores based on the actual situation of each journal and combine the built evaluation model to get the scores of each journal and analyze and evaluate the results.Based on the evaluation analysis and the characteristics of each journal,the proposed strategies to enhance the core competitiveness of Liaoning’s traditional Chinese medicine journals are to give full play to the advantages,make up for the disadvantages,and coordinate the development of academic competitiveness,editing competitiveness and publishing competitiveness.
