Ancient East-Asia imperial garden has been developed from very early period.The gardens founded in Henan Yanshishangcheng and Zhengzhou Shangcheng proved two facts: one is the garden was designed from that early period,and second is the garden was a core part of imperial architecture.It was an early design of Chinese ancient imperial garden.Afterwards,Lanchi in Hanyangcheng,the capital of Qin dynasty,and Taiyechi in Changancheng,the capital of Han dynasty,became the representative imperial gardens in each period.Both gardens were influenced by the tradition of Shangdai In addition,the ideology of Taoism is the most significant change in the structure of the garden in Qin and Han dynasty.With the influence of Taoism,‘three islands in one pond’ model appeared.It had influence not only on imperial gardens in Su and Tang dynasty but also those of Goguryeo,Shilla and Baekje.This thesis is the comparative of the imperial gardens in Su and Tang dynasty and that of Shilla.The subjects of study are Daminggong Taiyechi of Tang dynasty,Luoyangcheng Jiuzhouchi and Shangyanggong in Su/Tang dynasty,Donggong Yuechi in Unified Shilla.On the basis of the research reports of cultural treasure and literature reviews,the thesis is divided into six parts: First,reviewing cultural exchanges between Dang and Shilla through literature.Two,finding the result of excavation about Daminggong Taiyechi of Tang dynasty.Three,finding the result of excavation and literatures about Luoyangcheng Jiuzhouchi a n d S h a n g y a n g p a l a c e of Tang dynasty.Fourth,reviewing the result of excavation and materials about Donggong Yuechi of Unified Shilla.Fifth,making research about the similarity and difference,influencing relationship among four gardens through comparative study.
