| The research of forensic linguistics is showing a trend of continuous development.For the past few years,more and more scholars at home and abroad begin to pay attention to the dynamic study of courtroom discourse.Among them,the question and answer interaction in courtroom discourse is of great significance.Based on the principle of goal direction proposed by Liao Meizhen and the data retrieved from the self-contructed small-scale corpus of courtroom discourse in Chinese-English movies and TV shows,this paper discusses the question and answer interaction in Chinese-English courtroom discourse from the following aspects: number of question and answer types,the distribution of question and answer types of courtroom discourse participants,number of exchange structure types of question and answer interaction,and the distribution of the exchange structure types of question and answer interaction among participants in courtroom discourse.And through data statistics and analysis,the paper finds out the similarities and differences between Chinese courtroom discourse and English courtroom discourse in terms of question and answer interaction,and analyzes the reasons for the similarities and differences from the principle of goal direction,legal system and cultural thinking.Through the study of the courtroom discourse question and answer interaction in Chinese and English film and television works,the text types of courtroom discourse research are enriched to a certain extent,which is conducive to deepening the contrastive study of Chinese and English languages.At the same time,through understanding the advantages of the court trail in the common law system and disadvantages of the court trial in China by comparison,we intend to provide some practical reference for the improvement of criminal court trial in China. |
