"Nightingale" - Zou Wenzhen Master's Solo Graduation Concert

Graduate concert is the main standard to evaluate graduates.It aims to show graduates’ singing,concert design,singing level and performance ability.This is not only a graduation examination for postgraduates,but also a summary of my vocal music learning in recent years.Respect the school’s master of arts training program,combined with their own actual situation,the master of Arts Graduation Concert concept.Setting up correct academic thinking and accurate theoretical framework of songs,choosing appropriate works,and having the ability to explore diversity are all the skills that a qualified graduate student should have.This paper expounds and explains three parts: the theme and conception of the concert,the analysis of the singing repertoire,and the harvest and reflection after the concert.I set the theme of the concert as "Nightingale".The concert repertoire consists of four parts: ancient poetry and songs,Huaqiang art songs,folk songs and opera aria,and I sang 12 works in total.The content of the works mostly presents all kinds of life,joys and sorrows.Different songs interpret different emotions,express feelings with songs,and convey love with songs.In the face of a large number of continuous works,it is emphasized to keep the cavity unobstructed,the breath stable and smooth,better integrate the theoretical knowledge learned with the practical experience on the stage,strive to integrate the feelings learned with the understanding,and report to the teachers.
