Research On Serialization Design Of Digital Album Cover Of "Migration"

In recent years,driven by Internet technology and people’s way of entertainment,the form of pop music album has gradually become virtualized and mobile.The rise and popularity of many music playing software also provides a convenient platform and way for the form transformation and multi-channel transmission of music album.These changes have led to a variety of innovations in the production level of pop music albums:the enrichment of album creation connotation,the diversification of emotional expression of songs,the mass composition of works and the complexity of track style collocation.In the personal album migration released by singer Chen Li in 2019,the above innovations can be seen.As a transformation of Chen Li’s music style,compared with his early works,the album has shown new characteristics of keeping pace with the times in terms of the overall positioning of the album,the style innovation of songs and the connotation expression of the works.Its music art level and the quality of album creation have been improved qualitatively.But unfortunately,the online cover design of the album is sloppy.There are many problems in the design level of the album cover which is directly pieced up by using the MV pictures of songs.The music text of the album is difficult to match with its visual image,which makes it also difficult for the audience to obtain accurate and effective visual information from the current album cover design.The aesthetic experience of the design is also poor.These problems seriously hinder the popularity of the album,but also very contrary to the overall positioning of the album as a singer’s transformation work.Therefore,these problems need corresponding theoretical research and design practice.Therefore,focusing on the above issues,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the basic situation,creative concept,music text,audience and social evaluation of the album.In view of the diversity of song text expression in migration,this paper puts forward the cover design theory and method which is different from the current mainstream music album cover design.That is to carry out specialized design for each song in the album,so as to form a series of design works together with the whole album cover,and carry out the corresponding design practice according to the theory and method.Through research and practice,this paper has improved and perfected the visual communication design of migratory album to some extent,and has also made an innovative theoretical exploration and practical attempt for the online cover design of the current pop music album.
