Mongolian wedding ceremony has a long history,profound details,rich and colorful ceremony content,wedding set music,praise poetry,clothing technology,food and residence,folk beliefs as one of the art and culture.Wedding ceremony is a turning point in the transformation of people’s identity.It is a declaration,a manifestation of the sincerity of both men and women,and the beginning of a new family and life.Horqin Right Wing Front Banner wedding is also a representative branch of Mongolian wedding,which completely retains the traditional Horqin wedding etiquette,and shows the custom characteristics of Mongolian wedding with its unique regional and procedural characteristics.Using anthropological theories and methods,this paper makes an in-depth study of the process,music,eulogy and costumes of the Mongolian wedding ceremony,taking into account the diachronic and synchronic perspectives.On the one hand,it explores the historical,regional and ethnic characteristics of the ceremony,and reveals the influence of "external field threshold" on the changes of the wedding ceremony;on the other hand,it analyzes the process and music of the two Mongolian wedding ceremonies In order to construct the integrity of the Mongolian wedding ceremony,the paper explores the conditions and requirements of the transformation of the characters in the "performance process" of the wedding ceremony through the investigation of the characteristics,costumes and the "attitude" of the local people.On the one hand,as an outsider,I went into the field to collect first-hand information,so as to understand the content,process and social function of Mongolian wedding ceremony;on the other hand,as an insider,I participated in the process of wedding ceremony to understand the emotional attitude of both men and women to the wedding ceremony.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the historical evolution of Horqin right-wing Front Banner through reading historical literature,and constructs the spatial context of Horqin right-wing Front Banner wedding ceremony from historical space,geographical space and folk space.The second chapter conducts two field surveys on Mongolian wedding ceremony,which are from two different perspectives of women and men,to make a more comprehensive and intuitive analysis The whole process of the wedding ceremony is sorted out.The third chapter makes an ontological analysis of the wedding songs and praise words in Horqin Right Wing Front Banner Mongolian wedding,and compares the women’s clothing before and after the Mongolian wedding ceremony,in order to interpret the traditional concept of Mongolian wedding ceremony and explore the status of women in Mongolian society.The fourth chapter reveals the wedding ceremony Through the analysis of the three new groups of families,the social role of Mongolian women is constructed.
