The dance drama "Wang Xizhi" is a classic dance drama which takes the form and rhyme of calligraphy as a classical dance style.It is a new art form combining classical dance with calligraphy,showing the combination of movement and static,and it is a pioneer dance work with deep integration of calligraphy and dance,providing the audience with unique artistic enjoyment.Both of them have the same cultural heritage,that is,"shape" is similar,"spirit" is interlinked,and "strength" is compatible.In other words,they are closely related in their original "source",and a new art form created based on the three elements of "common source" is an innovative embodiment of the artistic value of the Chinese nation.It is a picturesque dance drama and a dreamy legend.A sad and happy life,a history of famous works handed down from ancient times.This paper first expounds the common origin of classical dance and calligraphy,then discusses the embodiment of the common origin of classical dance and calligraphy in dance drama Wang Xizhi,and finally expounds the common origin value of classical dance and calligraphy.The innovation of this paper lies in discussing the emotion conveyed by dance drama and the shaping of characters from three aspects: "form","spirit" and "strength".
