Research On The Application Of Modern Chinese Character Radicals In Teaching

Radical word search is a unique dictionary retrieval method for Chinese characters.Radical has a history of nearly two thousand years.Its research in contemporary application fields can provide reference value for the development of radical word search.Continuing the history of radicals and symbolizing the normalization of radicals,the contemporary dictionaries are also directly used by readers.With Chinese language teaching cultivating primary school students’ independent literacy competence,as one of the ways of lexicographic order,radical word search is the necessary process of Chinese language learning.This paper delves into the problems of practical application of radicals in Chinese language teaching,combining with diachronic research,considers the influential factors of the application of modern Chinese characters’ radicals,and coherently discusses their actual needs.The research in this paper is divided into investigation research and influential factor research.The investigation includes investigations on Chinese language teaching and dictionaries.Chinese language teaching uses questionnaire surveys and interview surveys to understand the actual situation of radicals in teaching,Chinese character component in textbooks and use radical methods suitable for primary school students as the object of study,the pre-existing knowledge that can be found.There also includes the distribution of the relevant content of the radicals in the textbooks,the arrangement of word search learning and so on.The survey of dictionaries includes the comparison of contemporary dictionaries and the standard radicals,and the diachronic investigation in the historical dictionaries during the special characters.The study of influential factors includes the influential factors of teaching and the influential factors of dictionary.Based on the previous chapter,with the in-depth analysis of the characteristics of radicals selected by Chinese teaching and the influence of Chinese character structure during Chinese language teaching,combined the practicality of Chinese teaching to continue to discussing.Based on the accumulation of previous studies,this article finds that the three aspects that need to be taken into account in radicals of dictionaries may be glyphs,establish radicals,and historical inheritance.Finally,combined with development of radical word search,the practical application requirements of radicals are explained around several points.
