| The image of the immortal has existed in China since the pre-Qin Dynasty.The immortal is an image of people’s reaction to perfection,representing the most beautiful symbol of people’s hearts and their trust in a happy life.With the development of society,they have been gradually integrated into people’s lives and have had a long-lasting influence on politics,economy,thought,customs,beliefs,culture,art and other aspects.The ever-rich stories of immortals and gods have provided artists with a constant source of creative inspiration and material,and the concept of immortals in China still has a strong vitality in art creation today.In general,the image of immortals has undergone a process of religiousization and divinization gradually replaced by secularization and humanization.Through the study of fairy images,this paper can see the painterly ideas that characterized the works in different eras,as well as the influence that the changing images of fairies had on painters and paintings at different stages.At the same time,this paper also introduces the influence of fairy images on the author’s own printmaking. |
