Translation Practice Report Of Rosneft's Anti-Fraud, Anti-Corruption And Information Security Policy

Rosneft is Russia’s largest oil company,established on September 29,1995,and is a state-owned open joint-stock enterprise established by the government of the Russian Federation.Fighting against fraud and corruption is a common topic faced by all countries.Anti-fraud and anti-corruption are not only important tasks of the country,but also should be paid attention to by all enterprises and companies.In May 2018,Rosneft’s board of directors passed the company’s anti-fraud and anti-corruption policy.With the development of information technology,enterprises increasingly rely on the application of information technology to enhance their own competitive advantages and operational efficiency.However,the accompanying information security issues have also caused companies to face significant economic losses.In March 2020,Rosneft’s board of directors resolved to approve the introduction of an information security policy.The ?Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Policy and Information Security Policy? of Rosneft is essentially articles of association,and the text belongs to official document style.There is currently no Chinese translation.This paper is a Chinese translation practice report.It elaborates on the characteristics of official document style.Under the guidance of functional equivalence theory,the author translated the original text,analyzed typical examples in text translation from the perspective of vocabulary and sentence,and summed up the corresponding translation skills in order to achieve functional equivalence,such as word addition,word subtraction,part-of-speech conversion,split translation,combined translation and sentence order exchange.Through this translation practice,the author hopes to further understand the current situation of Rosneft,see little about it,and deepen the exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia.At the same time,I also hope to take this precious opportunity to train my ability to solve problems independently and practice translation,and accumulate valuable translation experience.
