As a traditional skill in Yunnan Dai area,paper cutting has a history of 1500 years.In 2006,Dai paper-cut was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list,and now it is included in the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage protection list as a sub project of Chinese paper cutting.With the deepening development of science and technology,the traditional culture of our country is bound to be affected by certain impact in the process of inheritance,especially the traditional skills in remote minority areas are facing the risk of loss.At present,most of the traditional skills are handed down through the "family" of masters and apprentices and father and son,and are almost hidden in the homes of ordinary people,Therefore,it is an urgent problem to let people understand,learn and inherit the handicrafts of ethnic minorities.As an artistic means of image recording,documentary film can restore the scene picture and sound most truly,which plays an extremely important role in the true retention of traditional handicraft skills.It can not only objectively reproduce the scene of the characters at that time,but also use the subjective artistic expression of audio-visual techniques to show the unique artistic charm of TV documentary,so that the audience can get closer Experience the creative process of traditional handicrafts of ethnic minorities.In this paper,based on the existing numerous traditional handicrafts intangible cultural heritage documentaries and character documentaries,This paper mainly focuses on the creative practice of the documentary "Dai Xiang paper-cut man",focusing on fan Yong,a representative inheritor of Dai papercut in Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province,focusing on the origin of the industry,the status quo of the industry,the difficulties faced,the combination with new media and the breakthrough point in the future.The creation is mainly composed of five chapters,as follows: the first chapter is the introduction,respectively from the documentary " Dai Xiang paper-cut man" creation background,literature review,work analysis,creative value and significance,research methods and innovation points of the work;the second chapter is the preliminary planning,including the preliminary research,preparation,character analysis,theme setting,shooting ideas The third and fourth chapters are the core points of this paper,respectively from the mid-term shooting and post-production two aspects of in-depth anal ysis of the film,mid-term shooting mainly from the formulation of shooting plans,shooting equipment auxiliary equipment selection,shooting methods and other aspects;The fifth chapter is the summary and experience of documentary creation,summarizing and reflecting on the experience gained in the whole process of creation,in order to provide some valuable contributions for intangible cultural heritage heritage documentary.
