My Exploration And Application Of Ink Language In Painting

As a kind of symbolic image,the existence meaning of visual symbol is to show the things and meanings it symbolizes through form.Cassirer of Germany defined art as a kind of symbolic language.Of course,symbols exist in our whole human society,and each era has its own symbol language.This symbol has certain universality in society.When we apply this symbol to the creation of ink figure painting,this kind of image symbol language becomes an artistic language metaphorically or symbolizing a certain social group and social phenomenon.Based on the semiotic theory of Pierce,Cassirer and Susan Langer,this paper points out the aesthetic basis of symbol as artistic language,and discusses the unique image schema derived from the contemporary social background by analyzing the use of symbol in contemporary ink figure painting,and explores the application of symbol in my artistic creation by integrating this kind of semiotic language into my own artistic works How is it reflected.This paper is divided into three parts.One is to explain the formation theory and evolution of semiotics.Based on the aesthetic theory,this paper expounds the symbols used in the creation of Chinese ink and wash characters and their application ideas and change rules.The second is to analyze some works of using symbol schema in today's ink figure painting,and learn from their works to summarize their own symbol schema.The third is how to combine the abstract and symbolic artistic language with the concrete image of the characters,and how to combine the perceptual with the rational in my graduation creation,so as to fully illustrate the symbolic illustration.
