Musical Analysis And Singing Processing Of The Aria "Song Of Veria"

The aria "The Song of Vilia " is taken from the operetta "The Jolly Widow".This work takes the Greek mythology story as the theme,sings beautifully,the melody is beautiful,uses the Austrian folk song material,has the rich dynamic change,shows its unique characteristic.There are a lot of long lyrical sentences in the work,and there are a lot of big jump intervals,which put higher requirements on the singer’s singing.Therefore,the author found out the relevant background information of the work and translated it.Then,the author analyzes the musical structure of the work from two aspects: musical structure and melodic characteristics.This paper discusses the singing treatment of this work from four aspects: the technical characteristics of vocal music,the control of the three layers of emotional changes contained in the work,the different versions of Hannah and the shaping of stage roles.Through the above research and analysis,the author hopes to deepen the understanding of "The Song of Vilia ",so as to better perform the work on the stage.
