Zhou Long's "Five Kui" Music Analysis And Performance Techniques Research

The piano work "Wu Kui" was made in the 1980 s.It is a model of the combination of western composition techniques and national music materials,and has distinctive characteristics of the times.Starting from the life of the composer and the background of his work "Wu Kui",the author further analyzes the morphological characteristics of the music text of "Wu Kui".Based on this,I talk about my own understanding of its performance.Through studying the music text,it is found that this work adopts the subject form of a single movement,divided into three parts,the front and the back are sturdy and full of vitality,the middle part has a beautiful lyrical melody and clear paragraphs.The music has a strong sense of rhythm.The composer uses a large number of creative techniques such as split rhythm and homophonic connection,which fits the improvisational style and free characteristics of the "Big Wukui Dance",and restores a true portrayal of the hunting life of the Manchu people.On this basis,through the two dimensions of key touch and strength,the performance of music text is analyzed and researched.This article is divided into three parts:The first part summarizes the music life of the composer Zhou Long and the creative background of "Wu Kui";The second part analyzes the melody,rhythm and harmony of this piece from the perspective of music text analysis;The third part is the theoretical summary after the author’s practice.It analyzes the performance of the work from the aspects of key touch and dynamic processing,which has certain practical and guiding teaching significance.
