From Smart To Smart: An Ethical Review Of Smart City Construction

Urban prosperity is the symbol of economic development.With the development of China’s urbanization entering a new stage,big cities and mega cities have become a new historical picture.At the same time,the expanding small and medium-sized cities have also brought a lot of problems to urban management.Smart city construction is known as the key to solve the urban dilemma.Unfortunately,the understanding of smart city has deviated in the construction process.On the one hand,the construction of information infrastructure in smart city is booming;on the other hand,the dilemma is highlighted: due to the builders’ one-sided and fragmented understanding of smart city construction,the main body of urban construction-people are often ignored.In the process of smart city construction,the balance between scientific and technological progress and people’s all-round development and the quality of smart city development are all urgent problems to be solved.It is the essence of the spirit of the times to explore smart city from the dimensions of physical space,information technology and humanity.However,the lack of human-oriented philosophical path makes the study of urban construction ethics even more scarce.People oriented and social justice is an eternal ethical theme in ethics.This paper,from the perspective of ethics,makes full use of the urban thoughts of Aristotle and Rawls,and makes a philosophical reflection on the ethical problems arising from the construction of smart city with the method of literature analysis.The reflection results show that human being is the key link in the construction of smart city;Social justice can often provide support for the construction of smart city;A good ecological environment is an important factor: a good ecological relationship can play a supporting role in the process of smart city construction,so that people can live in it poetically.Through the ethical review of the construction of smart city,this paper aims to escort the city governments,help them to promote the construction of smart city scientifically and effectively,solve the development pain of contemporary urban intelligence,and realize the unity of smart city and human social development practice,so as to make smart city become the city of people,realize the happy community,and enhance the people’s sense of happiness,Reflect the superiority of the socialist system.This paper is divided into five parts: the first chapter is the introduction,which describes the main research direction of smart city from the technical level,lack of philosophical reflection.From the research direction and research ideas of experts at home and abroad.The second chapter clarifies the process of urban development,from the city in the former industrial age to the city in the information age,and combs the ancient and modern urban ethics,such as Plato,Aristotle and Rawls.The third chapter introduces the specific characteristics of smart city through the characteristics of smart city and the analysis of intelligence and wisdom.The fourth chapter expounds the ethical implication of smart city construction from the perspective of ethics,which should be people-oriented,social justice and the harmonious coexistence of human and nature.The fifth chapter points out that the current smart city is not a smart city,and puts forward that the goal of smart city is to let people live in it poetically and become a happy community.The conclusion part summarizes and refines the full text.
