Han Song’s works are one-of-a-kind landscapes in Chinese contemporary science fiction.His creations are not bound to the preset content and rules of science fiction literature,and they pique the attention of both science fiction and mainstream literary circles due to their distinct ideological connotations and manifestations.Han Song’s works are distinguished by their complex structure,cryptic imagery,esoteric and rich language,and absurd and melancholy subjects.He adopted Lu Xun’s social criticism attitude,and projected his observations and reflections on the development of civilization and social concerns in the technological era in a dreamy and surreal sci-fi imagination,and give off an impression of "heterotopias." This thesis explored how Han Song’s fables and science fiction satisfy the observation of human survival and disclose realistic issues via metaphor analysis and the context of the Times in the 1990 s.First,this thesis analyses the various forms of "heterotopias" in Han Song’s writings.By unraveling the convoluted and cryptic metaphor system,we grasp the harsh sights that trigger deep-seated dread and anxiety in human psychology and their meaning.The heterogeneous space with the coupling of technology and power,civilization’s alienation and the termination of rationality,as well as the superposition of multiple crises embody Han Song’s humanistic concern and realistic critique awareness via the linkage of "reality" and real space in spiritual feeling.Second,it focuses on the "crisis subject’s" survival picture in the closed,grotesque,and repressive heterogeneous space,and grasps the subject perception of the "crisis subject" from two aspects of physical variation and psychological fission.Han Song’s twisted and veiled expression of contemporary people’s dread,absurdity,and loss is experienced by both the author and readers.Han Song’s works go beyond presenting contemporary people’s psycho-spiritual crises.Simultaneously,he is constantly staring at and meditating on the unstable and crisis-ridden real world.Third,utilizing the idea of "risk society" and Han Song’s essays and press releases,the article investigates the reality reference underpinning the building of Han Song’s heterogeneous space.Analysis of how he maintains intellectuals’ "sense of mission" and "sense of responsibility",carefully grasping new technological changes,cultural conflicts,loose traditional moral value system against the backdrop of modern people’s spiritual feelings and the complicated relationship between the reality of the situation,thinking is an unavoidable risk issues in the process of Chinese society’s transformation.Finally,based on the previous studies,the author tries to assess the worth and limitations of Han Song’s science fiction literary creation from two perspectives: "science fiction realism" writing consciousness and stylistic awareness.
