During Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty,the mysterious veil of the West was lifted by Zhang Qian,the exchange between the East and the West was opened,and the Silk Road stretched for thousands of miles was stepped on by the horse,horse and camel team.Straightness and singularity are the basic characteristics of the east and west sections of the Silk Road.However,because of its special topography,Xinjiang,which is located in the middle section,intersects mountain basins and surrounds the basins.There are many Tianshan Mountain systems that have the greatest impact on the Silk Road.The ups and downs are constant,so the Silk Road in this area is multi-line parallel and intertwined vertically and horizontally.Starting from the eastern section of Tianshan Mountain,the Silk Road is divided into three,forming three main roads in the north,middle and south,and the middle of the main road is mixed.With branch lines large and small,the three roads finally meet at the western section of Tianshan Mountain.The Tianshan transportation network formed by complex transportation routes established Xinjiang as a transportation hub on the Silk Road.The Tianshan transportation network is an indispensable part of the Silk Road.The Kushi Ancient Road is located in the eastern part of the Tianshan Mountains.It is one of the trunk lines belonging to the North Silk Road.It is also a key transportation trunk line in the early Western Regions.The area where the Tianshan transportation network is located has a temperate continental climate.The Kushi Ancient Road is the most representative route in the vertical belt of climate and vegetation in the Tianshan transportation network.This article focuses on the Kushi Ancient Road,based on the literature and its main heritage profiles,sorts out the historical evolution of the Kushi Ancient Road,and lists the material cultural heritage and unique characteristics of the starting point of the Kushi Ancient Road and the main route area.Intangible cultural heritage,research on the starting point of Kushi Ancient Road and the value of the regional heritage of the main routes to prove the historical value,tourism value and cultural value inherited from the protection and utilization of Kushi Ancient Road.
