A Social Work Intervention Study On Home-based Care For The Empty-nest Elderly In Poverty Alleviation And Resettlement Sites

Under the background of the general policy of easy poverty alleviation and relocation,people have moved from the original poor countryside to the urban area,and the original way of life and living environment have undergone great changes.For the elderly with poor environmental adaptability,especially the empty nest elderly,they still continue the state of empty nesting,compared to the countryside,the city may bring them a stronger sense of loneliness,so the better living environment does not mean that they can truly achieve a happy old age.Therefore,their post-relocation life still needs to be closely watched,to provide them with effective help,while actively developing the community home-based old-age model,improve and supplement their existing social support network,in the process of social work as a professional activities to help others play an irreplaceable role.In this paper,Enshi City's largest poverty-relief settlement D community empty nest elderly as the research object,first of all,the actual internship experience as the basis for research,mainly through the daily communication with the D community empty nest elderly to understand their real needs and reality,and found that they and the general rural and urban empty nest elderly,in the elderly at all levels have a stronger demand.Secondly,after analyzing the situation of home-based old-age services in the real community of D-community,it is found that there is still a big gap between the services provided by D-community and their actual needs.Therefore,on the professional basis of social work,the theory of social support is used as the basis to explain the existing old-age problems through the analysis of their current community home-based social support network.Finally,try to intervene with the help of the more macro group work and community work,with a view to helping them realize the improvement and supplement of the current community home-based old-age social support network in a short period of time,and maximize the advantages of the community home-based old-age model.In addition,in the course of research,it is also needed to find out the shortcomings of social work in the intervention of community home-based old-age care and the key needs of easy-to-live empty-nest elderly people in the community home-based old-age model.Strive to reflect the professional value of social work at the same time to help the country better achieve easy poverty alleviation and relocation of empty nest elderly follow-up resettlement work,consolidate the implementation of policies.Finally,to change the public's view of empty nest elderly people,encourage empty nest elderly people to establish a positive and optimistic attitude towards life,to achieve "empty nest optimism."...
