Research On The Trial Of Criminal Cases In The Harbin Liberated Area District Court

Harbin is the first provincial capital city liberated by the Communist Party of China during the war of liberation.Harbin liberated area is the first urban liberated area in the construction of China's revolutionary base.The local court of Harbin liberated area is the first urban people's court established in the construction of revolutionary base.On the basis of completely breaking up the old judicial organ and judicial system,the local court of Harbin liberated area set up a criminal court in the court,took the trial of criminal cases as an important function of the court,and consolidated the newly established democratic regime of Harbin liberated area and stabilized the urban social order in the early stage of liberation through the trial of criminal cases.In the process of hearing criminal cases,the local court of Harbin liberated area inherited the principle of "people's justice" in the period of rural base areas,further combined the working concept of "convenience for the people" and "for the people" with relatively standardized trial procedures,and gradually explored a trial mode suitable for urban needs.Through criminal trial,the local court of Harbin liberated area severely punished relevant crimes such as counter revolution,endangering social security and undermining economic order,deterred enemy agents,resolved social contradictions and ensured the stability of urban economic order in the rear of the war of liberation.Of course,as the first attempt of the people's judicial work in the first big city liberated by the Communist Party of China,the criminal case trial of the local court of Harbin liberated area also has some limitations and deficiencies,but it also provides valuable experience and lessons for the judicial construction of other liberated areas and new China.
