Chemistry curriculum standard is an important basis to guide the compilation of teaching materials,to carry out practical teaching and teaching evaluation, and also to carry out chemistry curriculum management. In recent years, countries have continuously improved chemistry curriculum standards, promoted the reform of chemistry curriculum, and improved the effectiveness of chemistry teaching practice. In 2017,China's "General Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017Edition)" draws on the experience of various countries and continuously improves in practice, which provides a solid foundation for the implementation of senior high school chemistry curriculum standards, the compilation of chemistry teaching materials and the high school chemistry teaching after the new curriculum reform. To enable the chemistry curriculum standards to be better understood by educators, guide teachers curriculum practice and curriculum evaluation,to provide a better reference and basis for the compilation of teaching materials and the development of teaching resources,it is necessary to carry out a country-specific comparative study of "General Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" to provide some reference and basis for the reform and education of senior high school chemistry curriculum in China. This paper, based on the relevant theories of curriculum theory and comparative education, uses the methods of literature research, comparative research and text analysis to make a systematic comparison between our country's General Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)and America's Next Generation Science Education Standard(Next Generation Science Standards, abbreviated as NGSS).In terms of the overall text framework of the chemistry curriculum standards, the two countries have different styles of setting up the chemistry curriculum standards in senior high schools, the difference of text capacity is large, the emphasis is different, but the contents are generally similar, and each content of the ontology part of the chemistry curriculum standards has certain similarities and differences. In terms of the nature of the curriculum, the chemistry curriculum belongs to the scientific field in the education system of the two countries, pays great attention to thecultivation of students' scientific literacy, advocates giving students more space to play, and fully arouses their initiative;there are also certain differences in the nature of chemistry education in senior high schools between the two countries, that is,chemistry education in senior high schools in China is aimed at all students and is bound by obligations basic education at the educational stage, while high school chemistry education in the United States, although also based on primary and secondary school education, does not have the nature of public basic courses. In terms of curriculum concept, the common idea of chemistry curriculum reform in high schools in both countries is to emphasize quality education, but there are some differences, which reflect the different social and cultural education background of the two countries. In terms of curriculum objectives, both countries highlight the developmental goals of students, emphasizing that students are the main body of the curriculum, and the concept of teaching is carried out around students, but each has its own emphasis. In terms of curriculum structure, the chemistry curriculum modules in both countries are relatively complete, relatively speaking,China chemistry curriculum structure in senior high school is more selective. In terms of curriculum content, both countries attach great importance to the relationship between chemistry and life, and emphasize the importance of basic content;but in the organizational form of specific content, the United States spiral comprehensive form reduces the closeness between subjects, which is conducive to the later development of students. In terms of curriculum evaluation, both countries do not have a separate curriculum evaluation section, but both involve curriculum evaluation in the content standard, and make a detailed explanation, both emphasize the importance of curriculum evaluation. The content and standard of evaluation take into account the basis, diversity and selectivity, and put forward the requirement of evaluation implementation in the form of "teaching and evaluation suggestion ",and the evaluation system is relatively complete.
