Subjective well-being represents the summative experience of the individual's satisfaction with the state of life.Xi Jinping said in the report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that the people's sense of gain,happiness,and security should be more substantial,more secure,and more sustainable.With the abundance of life,people's demands for spiritual satisfaction,such as happiness,are constantly increasing.Therefore,how to improve the happiness of various groups has become one of the important issues in the development of our society."The future of China belongs to young people,and the future of the Chinese nation also belongs to young people.The values,beliefs,mental state,and overall quality of young people are an important manifestation of whether a country has the vitality of innovation and development,and it is also a core factor of a country's competitiveness." As the most creative group in society,young people are in a golden age of innovation,and their subjective well-being feels the general concern of all sectors of society.The study of young people's subjective well-being and its influencing factors has important practical significance for realizing the healthy development of young people,and provides corresponding decision-making basis for improving young people's life satisfaction.Based on the 2017 data of China Comprehensive Society(CGSS),this paper selects 18-40 year old as the research object,and studies the influencing factors of young people's subjective well-being through empirical analysis.The research content includes the following four aspects: First,through the collation and analysis of the previous literature,determine the measurement methods and specific indicators of the subjective well-being of young people,and initially screen out the independent variables that affect the subjective well-being of our youth.Second,the Chi-square test is used to test the significance level of the factors that influence the subjective well-being of young people.Third,through the use of an ordered logistic regression model analysis,the changes in the factors affecting the subjective well-being of our young people under the combined effect of all the factors.Fourth,perform a sub-sample group regression for groups of different genders and marital status to analyze the heterogeneity of factors that affect the subjective well-being of different groups.The research results show that the subjective well-being of young people in China is generally at a relatively high level,and there are obvious gender differences in subjective well-being,and the subjective well-being of young women is significantly higher than that of young men.Through the analysis of the ordered logistic regression model,it is concluded that the subjective well-being of young people in my country is positively significant for factors such as age,gender,physical health,social interaction,social trust,social equity,family economic status,whether to own a family car,and marital status.influences.Under different gender groups,the subjective well-being of young men is significantly affected by family economic status,social trust,and mental health;young women's subjective well-being is significantly affected by factors such as physical health,social trust,household registration,and social equity.Under different marital status groups,the subjective well-being of married young people is significantly related to social trust,household registration status,and mental health status;the subjective well-being of unmarried young people has a significant impact on family economic status,age,mental health status and other factors.Under different household registration groups,the subjective well-being of rural and urban youths is significantly positively affected by factors such as education level,marital status,social trust,social equity,family economic status,and learning.Compared with rural youth,the subjective well-being of urban youth is also significantly related to age and social activities.Based on the research conclusions drawn from the empirical analysis,this article puts forward relevant policy recommendations: continue to improve the education level of young people in China;continue to strengthen cultural construction to increase youth satisfaction with cultural entertainment;focus on protecting women's legitimate rights and interests,and improving women's participation in marriage and family Continue to improve the housing security policy to increase the satisfaction of young people's housing security;improve the social security system to increase the satisfaction of young people's social security;establish social security system to increase awareness of social participation;maintain good communication with family members.
