Today's pre-service teachers grow up in a rapidly updated information environment.Only with a high level of information literacy can they be qualified for the future education work.As an "information power" leading the world for many years,the United States has carried out a vigorous information literacy training movement after recognizing the importance and necessity of training the information literacy of pre-service teachers.Through many years of experimental research and training practice,the embedded information literacy training model proposed by American libraries has gradually become mature and achieved results.The model focuses on the information needs of pre-service teachers,emphasizes the service spirit of subject librarians,promotes the cooperative relationship between subject librarians and course teachers,and "embedding" information literacy into specific courses.This training mode not only significantly improves the information literacy level of pre-service teachers,but also provides new ideas and ideas for the training mode of information literacy.Up to now,the United States has successfully trained groups of pre-service teachers with high level of information literacy through the embedded information literacy training model,and its model concept and training experience have attracted many scholars at home and abroad to study and think.In recent years,China is also vigorously promoting the deep integration of information literacy and education.One after another,some universities have studied the embedded information literacy training mode of the United States and tried to apply it into training practice.However,due to the late development of information literacy training for pre-service teachers in China,the theory and practice of embedded information literacy training mode still need to be further studied.This paper systematically and deeply combs the embedded information literacy training mode of American pre-service teachers,analyzes their training cases,and summarizes their training experience.It is expected to bring enlightenment and reference to the information literacy of pre-service teachers in our country.This research is divided into five parts,the content is as follows:The first part: Origin and development.This paper expounds the background of information literacy training,sorts out the development stages of embedded information literacy training mode,summarizes the training characteristics of each stage,and analyzes the embedded information.The second part: the general situation of cultivation.Firstly,from the macro point of view of embedded information literacy training mode,the participating forces and functions of each part of information literacy are defined.Then,from three aspects of the training target,the training subject and the training content of the model,an in-depth analysis is carried out to clarify the general situation of the embedded information literacy training model.The third part: the implementation of the model.From the micro point of view of the model,this part discusses in detail the service mode of embedded information literacy,the way of information literacy embedded in subject courses,and the teaching and learning mode of embedded information literacy,so as to have a deep understanding of the implementation process of the information literacy training mode of American pre-service teachersThe fourth part: Cultivation case.Drawing lessons from three training cases in the United States--University of Scranton,Florida State University and University of Idaho,this paper expounds their training ideas and training processes,and provides some practical ideas for China's training.The fifth part: Enlightenment.This paper analyzes and summarizes the advantages of the embedded information literacy training mode for pre-service teachers in the United States,and puts forward some specific enlightenment based on the current situation of information literacy training in China.
