With the continuous development of China's society and education,teachers are required to pay attention to the all-round development of each student.How to learn efficiently and joyfully has been the focus of mathematics education community all the time.Especially for some students with relatively weak foundation or temporarily bad grades,how to help them solve difficulties in mathematics learning and improve the level of mathematics learning strategies,so as to obtain permanent development in mathematics,every educator is making unremitting efforts.Previous researches mainly aimed at investigation and study of current situation of the development of mathematics learning strategy of middle school students,correlation research of mathematics learning strategy and mathematics academic record,and manifestation and influencing factor of mathematics learning strategy and other content.Although some studies involve the cultivation of math learning strategies for high school students,there are few methods for developing mathematics learning strategies for underachievers,and the suggestions or schemes given are rather general,which generally cannot be easily used by teachers who work in the front line.In this context,this study adopts document research method,case study,questionnaire method and interview method,taking the senior high school students in Shanghai as the research object and the questionnaire on mathematics learning strategies of senior high school students compiled by Guangming Wang and others on the basis of proper modifications the research tool.The research solves the following problems :(1)Among the students with low academic records in mathematics,whether there are students with low level of mathematics learning strategies?(2)Can individual guidance be given to such students to improve their level of mathematical learning strategies?(3)Can individual guidance for such students improve their academic records in mathematics?On the basis of investigating the level of mathematics learning strategies of senior high school students,three students were selected for the study in combination with their academic records in mathematics.Through the comprehensive analysis of their mathematics learning level,mathematics academic record and personal situation,the study designs the guidelines to cultivate mathematics learning strategy of high school students,and for more than two months of individual guidance.Finally,the students were tested on their math records and mathematics learning strategy level,and the effectiveness of the guidelines was compared.Based on this,this paper gives some concrete methods and suggestions to improve students' mathematical learning strategy level in high school teaching.The result of the research shows that :(1)There are individuals with low level of mathematics learning strategy.(2)Students A and C can improve their mathematical learning strategy level and academic records after individual guidance.(3)After individual guidance to student B,the academic record and learning strategy level of mathematics did not significantly improve.By consciously focusing on cultivating mathematics learning strategies in mathematics teaching in senior high school,it is helpful to improve the students' academic records and the level of mathematics learning strategies.The students who lag behind in mathematics learning can make progress in mathematics learning through effective intervention.In the process of intervention,students should be fully mobilized such as learning motivation,learning interest,volitional quality and other nonintellectual factors,and strict requirements on students.It is of positive significance to cultivate mathematics learning strategies for students with low academic records in mathematics.It is hoped that this study can be helpful and enlightening to educators in China.
